Sales Tax

All bidders will be subject to sales tax applicable to the auction location unless you provide our office with the documentation we require for exemption (out-of-state buyers and out-of-country buyers will not be charged sales tax)

 ALL ITEMS SOLD “AS IS WHERE IS”

BUYERS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR LOADING, PACKAGING AND SHIPPING OF ALL ITEMS PURCHASED. BUYER WILL BE RESPONSIBLE TO REMOVE THE ENTIRE LOT EITHER BY TAKING IT WITH THEM OR  PUTTING IT IN THE DUMPSTER.

Buyers are responsible for trucking and providing an experienced person to oversee their load out to ensure your trailer is loaded fully and properly. It is not required for an experienced person to oversee loading, but loading will be done by a third party at their discretion, not discretion of buyer. Crossbid LLC does not have control of the way the racking is loaded onto the flatbeds. Racking will be taken down over a six to eight week period. When a full truck load is down and ready for pickup the buyer will be notified at which point they will have 2 days to arrange a FLATBED/STEPDECK trailer ONLY to pick up the racking. If for any reason the buyer wants the items loaded into a container the buyer will be responsible to provide labor and a forklift at that time.

Removal and Failure to Remove Items:  Each purchased item must be removed from the auction site without damaging any other property and within the time announced or posted for such item. All costs, responsibility and risk of such removal is borne by buyer and, in every case; buyer will use prudence and care in such removal. If buyer fails to remove any purchased item within the time specified, CrossBid has the right but not the obligation, in its sole discretion, to resell, discard or remove or store, at buyers sole risk and expense (storage costs will be charged at $15 per day - per item - other costs additional), without waiving any rights that CrossBid or seller may have.

Payment Information

At auction completion you will have two (2) business days to pay your balance in full. All payments must be completed online.  If you have the winning bid on a lot you will receive an email with instructions on how to complete your payment and schedule your pickup.

If you have not paid your balance in full within two (2) business days, we reserve the right to charge the remaining balance along with a ten (10) dollar processing fee to the authorized credit card.  

Sales Tax

The appropriate sales tax for each lot is your responsibility to pay and will be collected during the checkout process. 

Tax will be collected at all times except for the following:

• You are located outside the state where the lot is located and are not required by your state to pay sales tax.  However, you would be responsible to pay any sales and/or usage tax that your state and/or local government require.
• You are tax exempt.
