The Asset Retirement Program will be holding an online auction on behalf of their asset division. Highlights to include Ziess/ Humphrey Lens analyzers, automatic refractors, instrument stands, chairs, tonometers, and much more.***For packaging and shipping arrangements we have partnered with the UPS Store to optimize the buyers needs for shipping of items purchased. UPS store will offer a percentage discount for Ground or Freight shipping, this will be advantageous to all buyers in order to save $$$ for all items shipped. All bidders will be subject to sales tax applicable to the auction location unless you provide our office with the documentation we require for exemption (out-of-state buyers and out-of-country buyers will not be charged sales tax)

Removal Times

  • March 4-6, 2014 from 8AM - 5 PM EST (STRICTLY ENFORCED)
  • Buyers must schedule an appointment following sale for pickup. If an appointment is not made, your items may not be available.

Payment Information

At auction completion you will have two (2) business days to pay your balance in full. All payments must be completed online.  If you have the winning bid on a lot you will receive an email with instructions on how to complete your payment and schedule your pickup.

If you have not paid your balance in full within two (2) business days, we reserve the right to charge the remaining balance along with a ten (10) dollar processing fee to the authorized credit card.  

 

Sales Tax

The appropriate sales tax for each lot is your responsibility to pay and will be collected during the checkout process. 

Tax will be collected at all times except for the following:

  • You are located outside the state where the lot is located and are not required by your state to pay sales tax.  However, you would be responsible to pay any sales and/or usage tax that your state and/or local government require.
  • You are tax exempt.
